How To Dress for a First Date
Having been on plenty of first dates, I feel I have personal insight on how to dress for each occasion. Living close to Atlanta has its perks, there are a plethora of places to pick from in terms of going on dates. I know all too well the nervousness of planning for a first date. You want to make a great first impression and having the right outfit is step one. Here are some tips for three different date scenarios!
Day Date
There are many different activities you can do during the day for a date. Whether you are going to a museum, walking the beltline, or going to a casual restaurant this outfit is sure to make the right first impression. For any of these occasions listed, I suggest opting for a comfy dress or romper. This can be easily paired with your favorite white sneakers depending on where you are going. If you are going to a nice lunch I would dress up your outfit with a pair of wedges or heels. If you are feeling adventurous, add your favorite wide brim hat! To finish off the look I would wear a layered necklace and gold hoops, simple yet sophisticated!
Dinner Date
There are many different options when going out for dinner, you could venture downtown, go to a local brewery or patio dine. If you are unsure of where your date is taking you, I would opt for jeans, a cute top and heels. This is my go-to outfit, you can never go wrong with a good jean/blouse combo! Add a dainty necklace to top off the perfect date night look! You could also opt for a nice dress to show off your legs! I would suggest a cute mini dress or a figure hugging midi, these would be sure to show off your best assets.
Going Out for Drinks
In Atlanta, there are many places to choose from when going out for drinks. From rooftop bars to sport bars, let's find you the perfect outfit! When going out for drinks, I suggest wearing something you are comfortable in, opt for a midi skirt paired with a graphic tee! This outfit option is the best of both worlds, you are still able to be be cute but also comfortable. Tie dye is trending hard right now and we have the perfect option for your date!
